Dodo Bird

• Flightless Bird: The dodo bird was a unique bird that couldn’t fly. It had short wings that were not strong enough for flying. Instead, it spent most of its time walking and running on the ground.
• Friendly and Curious: Dodos were known for their friendly and curious nature. They lived on the island of Mauritius, where they didn’t have any natural predators. Because of this, they were not afraid of humans and other animals, making them easy to approach.
• Extinct Species: Unfortunately, the dodo bird is now extinct, which means there are no more dodos left in the world. They became extinct a long time ago, in the 17th century. The main reasons for their extinction were hunting by humans and the introduction of new animals to their habitat, which caused a disruption in their ecosystem.

Even though we can’t see dodos anymore, they continue to fascinate scientists and people all around the world. They remind us of the importance of protecting and preserving our environment to prevent other species from facing the same fate as the dodo bird.
